The Icelandic Pension Funds Association.

The IPFA is an umbrella organization of pension funds operating under the Mandatory Pension Rights (and the Operation of Pension Funds) Act. IPFA have 33 pension funds under its auspices.

At the end of 2009 the assets of the IPFA totalled approximately ISK 1.768 billion, more than 99% of all pension funds assets in Iceland.

The IPFA is based at Saetun 1, Reykjavík. The Chairman of the Board of the IPFA is Arnar Sigurmundsson samfrost@eyjar.is and the Managing Director is Hrafn Magnússon, hrafn@ll.is.
